Critical Objectives began with a clear objective: rethink how the shooter interacts with the rifle. That focus on ergonomics led to our patented, non-reciprocating forward-charging system and, ultimately, the 02 Talon.
Based in Michigan, our team continues to refine that original concept.

The patented 02 Talon system places charging controls forward on the rifle in a non-reciprocating configuration. Forward-mounted charging controls put rifle operation where the shooter can access it naturally, creating a more direct and intuitive way to charge the rifle and address a malfunction.
